Meet the Team
Dalton founded ICFL in 2003 following more than 25 years in investment banking in North America and Europe. Prior to founding ICFL, he was Managing Director and Head of European Industrials Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in London. At predecessor Bankers Trust Company in New York, London and Chicago, he was Managing Director and a Corporate Partner responsible for The Basic Industries Group. Dalton also managed businesses for Bankers Trust in High Yield Bonds / Leveraged Finance, Restructuring Advisory and Private Equity.
Dalton holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. Dalton is a Trustee of the University of Illinois Foundation UK.
Ian has been with ICFL since its inception. Previously, he was a Vice President in Deutsche Bank's European Industrials group, focused on European building products and metals and mining sectors. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Ian was Chief Financial Officer of America Mineral Fields, Inc., a Canadian junior mining company.
Ian was also a Vice President in Merrill Lynch's London Mergers and Acquisitions group. Ian holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Trinity College, University of Toronto. Ian is fluent in German and French.
